Over the last 25 years, Alain has held leadership roles in strategy, technology, business development, and marketing for some of the world’s most powerful brands including IBM, Universal Music Group, Deloitte Consulting, Anthem Health, Witt O’Brien’s, and BDO Global. Since the early 1990s with the development of an automatic payment processing software application commercially sold to a major corporation, Alain has been a driving force behind emerging business opportunities across the United States and in the Caribbean and Latin America. Combined with his applied knowledge and expertise, Alain has an advanced understanding of artificial intelligence strategies and Industry 4.0 innovations that can help organizations solve their toughest challenges in the years to come, including growth, innovation, job creation, and productivity.
A native New Yorker, Alain was born in Queens and raised by Haitian-immigrant parents. He launched his first social enterprise while obtaining his MBA in Corporate Strategy and International Business from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business in 2003. Alain has co-founded a cultural identity brand marketing company, an online retail remittance transfer technology company, and is a founding member of multiple consulting practices in the Caribbean. Since the Covid19 pandemic, Alain founded a global research, development and strategic advisory firm aimed at fueling economic opportunity through digital innovation. He has been featured on webinars about the future of technology and its impact on the Black diaspora. In November 2020, Alain became Co-founder and Chief Strategist at The Gentlemen’s Factory, a networking platform and global community designed to advance men of color.
Alain attended Brooklyn Technical High School in New York City and earned his bachelor’s in computer science from Rochester Institute of Technology. He is a member of National Black MBA Associates, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and the Founding Chapter of One Hundred Black Men Inc., of New York. He serves on the Board of The Haitian Roundtable and is a Mentor with Black Entrepreneurs NYC (BE NYC), a groundbreaking model for a major American city to help create equity of opportunity by advancing Black entrepreneurship.
